Who’s Invited?

Nemesis U18 Events are open to anyone between the ages of 11-17.

 

These include a wide range of town centre nightclubs across northern England and beyond. Anyone who Nemesis or venue staff suspect may be older than 17 will be asked to produce ID and will be removed if they are unable to do so. However, 18-year-olds who wish to attend with younger friends will be allowed to do so for three months after their 18th birthday.

Can Parents Attend?

 

Security and transparency are an essential priority for Nemesis U18 Events. That’s why we welcome the parents of attendees to come and visit our nights, giving them chance to gain a first-hand insight into how we run our events and speak face-to-face with our team of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable area managers.

Where Will the Event Take Place?

 

Nemesis U18 Events has arrangements in place with more than 40 town and city center venues across the country. This is an ongoing process and an increasing number of Nemesis U18 parties are set to be revealed over the coming months. Is There a Dress Code?

 

As a general rule, Nemesis U18 Events operate a ‘Smart Casual’ dress code as this is what our partner venues require. This means NO tracksuit bottoms, hoodies, bubble jackets or man-bags. However, many of our nights are themed, meaning information on clothing will be posted on the relevant Facebook page in the run-up to a particular event. Attendees must NEVER wear anything that covers their face.

Is There a Cloakroom?

 

Yes. We politely ask that attendees DO NOT carry any extra clothing around the venue with them. Cloakrooms will be available at ALL of our venues for a nightly charge of £1.

What Time Do Events Start and Finish?

 

The exact timings of a particular event are subject to the venue in question, but generally we aim to start all Nemesis U18 Events at 7pm and finish them between 11pm-11.30pm. We actively engage with local transport links and parents to ensure that all young people are able to make it home safely and easily. Finishing times may therefore be decided based on the final bus, train or tram service in the local area.

How Do I Buy Tickets?

 

All tickets are in wristband form and have a unique reference number, meaning Nemesis U18 Events can quickly and easily trace an individual order and address any issues. These can be purchased from our local ticket reps, bought online via paypal, or reserved through your local area’s Facebook page. Tickets are available to buy on the door on the night, but at a higher price. Advance tickets are £10 for standard and £14 for VIP, while it’s £13 standard and £15 VIP when bought on the door.

What Does a VIP Ticket Get Me?

 

For just a couple of pounds extra, our young people can party like celebs for the evening. VIP tickets offer a private booth for you and your friends with table service, a free mocktail, queue-jump on entry, free photo-keyrings and other souvenirs, and a one-off meet ‘n’ greet opportunity with our world famous DJs. What’s not to love?

What Are the Rules on Alcohol?

 

Alcohol is NOT served or allowed on site at ANY Nemesis U18 Events. This includes ticket-holders who may have just turned 18. Young people will have bags searched and ‘pat-down’ searches may be carried out by the venue’s qualified security staff. Door staff will be both male and female and will give young people an opportunity to voluntarily surrender anything they have brought with them which they shouldn’t have. Anyone who attempts to sneak alcohol into the venue - or who we suspect may have been consuming alcohol before arriving at the venue - will be refused entry. Alcohol plays no part in our events.

Management and Supervision

 

All Nemesis U18 Events are subject to the venue’s own rules. However, we deploy our own staff to ensure there will be one Nemesis manager on site for every 10 young people in attendance. They will be present well before the event begins and long after it finishes to meet ticket-holders, liaise with local transport links and escort attendees to and from the venue.

Every area of the nightclub will be supervised at all times and leaving the venue during the event is NOT permitted. This helps prevent any young people from trying to enter nearby over 18s venues. Anyone who leaves and attempts to return to the venue will be refused re-entry.

Are Attendees Allowed to Smoke?

 

Nemesis U18 Events does NOT encourage smoking and never will. However, in instances where venues offer smoking areas there is little we can do to stop it. These areas will be supervised at all times.

Emergency Contact

 

In order for Nemesis U18 Events to quickly and effectively act in the event of an emergency, our wristbands contain a section where parents and guardians can write their contact number. This will be our first port of call should any issues arise, therefore for we strongly recommend this to be filled in.

​

Just How Safe are Nemesis U18 Events?

 

Safety is paramount in all that we do and we have the highest standards in our industry when it comes to security and welfare. As well as all the measures above, Nemesis U18 Events work closely with police, council representatives, youth workers and schools & colleges in all the areas we cover. Full and proper risk assessments are carried out in relation to all our events.
